Dear Mr. Dinesh,

Limitizing the temperature above 475 deg c should not be the right approach.

There are so many  factors like Steam to  carbon ration ,carbon activity , temperature which decide the metal dusting of particular material. 

So each material has different temperature range for metal dusting.

Thermowells are Incolloy 800HT.  This is not the best metallurgy for this corrosion problem.

According to NACE, the better metallurgy is Alloy 699 XA.

We are looking for any factory that  produce thermowells using that metallurgy.
