[MW:30784] Re: Wps preparation

hi jacob,
From what i can understand almost all the materials have P-nos assigned in that case you need to categorize the materials which are going to be used list out all the corresponding P-nos and make a WPS accordingly. You can use ASME section IX to check the P-no.

Hi experts,

I am currently assigned in a new piping project which uses asme sec ix and asme b31.3 . There are impact requirement also. The metals used are cs, ltcs, p22,p11, ss316,ss321,ss304 etc.

My confusion is that there are lot of combinations of piping classes which use the same material. How can i qualify wps for this piping project for all these materials.?  Any suggestions are welcome.

Regards,

Jacob.
