As far as my experience is concerned every process drain and vent needs to be included in P&ID, but same is not necessary for hydrostatic drain and vents.

Dear experts,

   Construction code : ASME B31.1

We have some vent and drain valves / lines no mention in P&ID, when request our client to make update ther said that it's not principal lines so no need to mention every vent/drain.

In my experience, we need an update P&ID for preparing hydrotest layout and to make final handover wolkdown but i didn't get any support from codes / standards.

Could you help me please.
