Thank you for your reply. I need some more clarifications also.
In BS 1043-1, it is mentioned about transverse sections of arc welded
joints. What i need is about hardness testing in as welded condition
in plants/construction sites.
Some of my clients are asking to take 2 or 3 readings, and average of
the same is recorded (in this case we have to take 2 or 3 readings in
each, ie, Weld, haz and parent metal) . We have not find a code
requirement for the same. Also it costs us a lot of time also.
