Dear Nitesh,
AS PER MY INFORMATION, EXPIRED ELECTRODES CAN BE USED FOR WELDING & FABRICATIONS UNLESS & UNTIL DEFECTS STARTS ENTRAPED.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION, MANUFACTURERS USALLY MANUFURED ELECTRODES IN EXCESS (IN ADVANCE PRODUCTION OF 3 YEARS),I.E SOME ELECTRODES WHICH ARE IN LESS DEMAND.
SO MANUFACTURUES PACKAGED THE UNDEMANDED ELECTRODES ON TIME & DELIVERED TO ED-USRS..
NO CODE RESSTRICTS SUCH RESTRICTIONS..
THATS WHY MANUFACTURED ARE OPEN TO MANUFACTURE & DELIVER EXPIRED ELECTRODES (BUT THEY WILL NEVER ACCEPT THEY ARE DELIVERING EXPIRED ELECTRODES)
WITH REGARDS,
ASHISH P
