Dear Experts,

Our Construction code is ASME B31.3, 2010. My contractor is using Fitting of 24 inch sh.60(24.61 thk) in place of 24 inch sh.40 (17.48 thk), one end with Pipe and another with flange all are same dia with same sh. Contractor is following the chamfering technique as per B 31.3.
Is it acceptable?
There is nothing mensioned in client std. about it.
Please guide me with references. ARAMCO references will be preferable.
