Mr. Jayaraman,

ASME Sec. IX  clearly defines that, 

SFA 5.4 under  F4 are for all the electrodes other than austenitic and duplex. where in,

SFA 5.4 under  F5 are for all the electrodes under austenitic and duplex.

Since your E 309 Mo L is fully austenitic, it is considered under F5 only.

I need clear explanation As per ASME Sec IX, F.No. for  E309MoL Electrodes in SFA 5.4.
It is confusing to clearly define the  E309MoL Electrodes as F.No.4 or F.No.5.
So, please anyone can clarify.
