Re: [MW:14898] welding of dissimilar material CS SA106 to SS 316

Since your WPS done for SA 333 Gr. 6 to SA 312 TP 316 is grouped under
P1 Gr 1 (vs) P8 Gr 1. no need to do new WPS as new materials also falls
under same P1 Gr 1 (vs) P8 Gr 1.

you can use the earlier  WPS for your present  dissimilar welding also.

 i have a fillet weld of dissimilar material CS SA106 to SS 316 but i don't have WPS , also i have WPS for CS TO SS ( A333 GR6 P.1 to A312 TP316 P.8 ) if it is applicable to use it for the other material.
