Dear Experts,
I had a query regarding Nozzle and its RF Pad oppenings and
attachments near the welded joints and over the welded joints as per
ASME Sec 8 Div 1. I also attached a detailed sketch drawing for your
kind reference.
1) Reinforced opening ( RN ) near the Weld Joints :
a) What is the minimum distance between vertical /
horizontal welded joints and Nozzle RF Pad fillet weld joints [A],
[B], [C].
b) What is the minimum distance between RF Pad joint and
Non reinforced Nozzle fillet joints [ E ].
2) Reinforced opening ( RN ) Over the Weld Joints :
a) What is the RT requirements ?
3) Non Renforced opening ( SN ) near the Weld Joints :
a) What is the minimum distance between Vertical /
Horizontal weled joint and Non reinforced Nozzle fillet joints [ E ].
4) Non Renforced opening ( SN ) Over the Weld Joints :
a) What is the RT requirements ?
