Re: [MW:13917] Sample PQR fo CuNi Welding.

For CuNi 90:10 material to CS /LAS you can use ER 90:10 CuNi , If it is of CuNi 970:30 metallurgy to CS You can use Monel ENiCu7 which is best compatable for discimilar metal joining

I need your valuable advice on following CuNi Welding, We have some joints in for Seal Strip, Material CuNi (B171-C46400). FYI, we don't have PQR and qualified welder to weld this joint in case welding activity done in our workshop. I need your help to get sample PQR for my reference, because I planning to qualified this PQR.  

Need your suggestions on this cases as given in these photos,

1)      To weld Sliding bar to tubesheet  as detail C

Material Specification:

Sliding Bar: A283 Gr.C

Tubesheet: A350-LF2 + B171 C46400 clad

2)     

BafBaffle plate to seal strip  as detail B.

  

mMaterial Specification:

Baffle plate: B171 C46400

Seal strip: B171 C46400
