Dear Samshuddin,
1. Attached Sketch might usefull for better understanding ( ignore the PG-PDS additional client requirement)
2. It's not each process (refer sketch)
3. Even you can go for 3cycle PWHT.

Subject: [MW:13920] Impact test requirements as per UG 84

Dear Experts
I have to prepare a PQR for SA 516 Gr.70 plate of 50mm thick.Require to be welded in 3G which quqlifies for all postion
I am using GTAW+SMAW+SAW(10mm+20mm+20mm)(It is always asked to take Impact of each process i.e. specimen should cover each process weld even 1mm is also accepted and it should be recorded)
My doubt is how many test specimen i have take for impact test
Is that i have to take HAZ & WELD from each process. (Yes )
Please expalin.
And as per UCS 56, I am going to do PWHT.(It should satisfy essential variable of QW 407.2 and temperature range and Time is very important in case of Impact test PQR)
Then can i take twice the holding time to considering the on job repair.
Is that acceptable (Two  holding time will qualify for single also but not vice versa)
Please advise
