[MW:4824] RE: 4823] ASTM A519 Gr.4130- FCAW Process

Choice of filer metal depends on which requirements on mechanical properties and composition of weld metal.

If high strength and high charpyvalues at low temp are required after PWHT at high temp (e.g. in case of hardness requirement < 22HRC), only few compositions are suitable and less available / known.

May i know, why FCAW process is not familiar in welding of ASTM A519 Gr.4130 Pipes?
