Dear gary,
 
now we are using the Lincoln Electric P223 flux , to weld the wind mill towers , but during welding we experience the following
1. uneven weld bead
2.excess reinforcement
3.bad cosmetic look
 
if decrease the amps to get good cosmetic look , during ut inspection the weld soundness fails. can you recommend a parameter for welding
 
Note:
 
the thickness range is 8mm to 20mm , we are practising square but welding .
