Yes - impact qualified WPS & PQR required, ASME Section IX supplementary essential variables apply.
UCS-67(a) Welds made with filler metal shall be impact tested in accordance with UG-84 when any of the following apply:
UCS-67(a)(1) when either base metal is required to be impact tested by the rule of this Division

Is it required to use Impact tested Welding procedure WPS
( supported by Impact tested PQR) to weld vessel internal Parts?
I.e parts that are directly welded on shell/head(non pressure joints).
Vessel is ASME code stamped, Shell & heads base meterials require impact testing as per code.
can any body give code referances (ASME Sec.VIII Div.1/Div.II.
