My client has mentioned the above 25 mm Impact test would be required, in accordance with B31.3.
Question: Are materials, for which a temperature of −20°F (−29°C) is listed in the Minimum Temperature column of
Table A-1, exempt from impact testing for any combination of thickness and temperature above −20°F (−29°C)? Reply: Yes.
The minimum temperature in our scope is not below minus 29°C. If B31.3 calls for impact test within this temperature.
