[MW:31301] RE: 31300] Change material grade of Nuts

It should not be a problem, unless hardness and other mechanical properties are within the  specified design ranges . Please read this following blog for general guidance.

Can we use ASTM A194 Grde-7 nus instead of ASTM A194 Grade-4nuts.

Because ASTM A194 Grade-4 nuts removed by the ASTM committee because globally lack of material availability.

 

Please advise.
