A tie in point is the point where the new piping connects to the existing pipe.
RT or UT normally applies for all the fluids, in this case TIE-INs does not have exempts to waive (OR), TIE-IN joint comes under lieu for HT, most of the company standards makes stringent with UT and RT as mandatory, but some company standard mandate more stringents like PAUT (TOFD) / film density / least repaired welders.
So check with Company standards, not to worry if there is an addition as it is usual for TIE-INs.
