RE: [MW:28810] Hardness requirement for CRO as per ISO 15156

Hi Darshan,

What's  the weld overlay in question?

Please refer the following clause of ISO-15156-3, Part 3: Cracking-resistant CRAs (corrosion resistant alloys) and other alloys. Hardness for weld overlays has to match the respective hardness requirement for the CRA in question.

Annex-A provides the design conditions and acceptance criteria, including hardness restriction for various types of CRA's. Hardness for the weld overlays should match that of the base meta(CRA) in question.

Thanks.

Clause 7.3 address hardness of  BM & HAZ, there is no specific hardness  acceptance value mentioned for WOL Material.
