Re: [MW:28736] SA 194 nut to SA 36 plate fabricated pipe WPS

SA194 nuts has not placed any assigned P no as per ASME IX and also with ASME II does not say about welding, still welding of non service requirements does not fall under projects requirements which can be welded with SA 36 plate fabricated to pipe, if your SA194 grades are 1, 2 , 2HM and 2H only. if not you have to qualify procedure.

Officially SA194 nuts are not indended for welding, check safety factors.

Is there any separate  wps required for welding  SA 194 nuts with SA 36 fabricated pipe.nut is used only for the support the insulation .shall be use
