[MW:28713] Thickness gauging - decimal place (Example: T=7.11 mm or 7.1 mm)

Dear All,

As a part of thickness gauging of piping, we measured thickness on piping spools with UT thickness gauging machine,
The values we got is with single decimal point only.
Example: 6" Dia sch 40 pipe values are 8.5 mm, 8.0 mm, 8.2 mm.

Question:

What is the minimum decimal point required during thickness gauging?

Is it one decimal (1/10th or 0.1 mm) or two decimal (1/100th or 0.01 mm)?

Is there any reference addressed in ASME B36.10 or API 5L or ASME Sec II Part A / D ?

Kindly advise

Thank you.

Inspection Engineer.
