Dear Pradeep,

For GMAW  process, down hand fillet method 'spray transfer'is best suited if your steel is having thickness above 6 mm.  At 20 mm CTWD and 6-8 mm  electrode extension which gives ideal heat input and fairly high deposition rate with stable arc.

For more general information see AWS Welding Handbook, volume 2, Welding Processes, Chapter 4 – metal transfer mechanisms starting on page 112.  Selection of transfer mode is usually determined on the basis of material thickness.
