Re: [MW:19100] ASME Sect IX-Qualifying PQR for ASTM A333 Grade 8

Dear Sir,

I have found some data for Filler Wire from ASME Sec. II Part-C.

The general compositin for you base material is 9Ni (I guess).

Filler Wire details extracted from Sec.II Part-C(SFA-5.14/SFA-5.14M) are as follows:-

ERNiMo-9. The nominal composition
(wt.-%) of filler metal of this classification is 70 Ni, 20 Mo, 3 W, and 1 Fe. Filler metal of this classification is used
for welding 9% nickel steel (ASTM A 333, A 334, A 353,and A 553 having UNS number K81340) to itself using the GTAW and SAW processes.

You may refer ASME Sec. II Part C for Filler wire specifications.

I am a Novice to all this, so please correct me if I am wrong. Also I am attaching a presentation which I found while browsing through internet. Hope that is useful for you.
