[MW:19079] Metallographic Image on weld overlay

Dear All,

As per ASME SEC IX requirement I have qualified weld overlay procedure for alloy 625 , but my client requirement is also to carry out Metallographic image for 5 % penetration check on weld overlay.
My query is how and where to check this 5% penetration because my lab. Testing person is also not getting it.
Can anybody elaborate this.
