I think your client must have come from another planet how on earth can you confirm the integrity of the line where a pressure testing of 170 bar is required by simply doing a Pt on the weld joints?
Not at all you need to replace the pneumatic test with HT that is the only acceptable method

According designers we should perform Pneumatic test @ 175 bars but for Safety matters Pneumatic test is cancelled and client agreed to perform full PT (All socket welds connections).
