For SA 2.5 / SA 3, I recommend to use use grit blasting / shot blasting , if required a combination of both but not sand blasting. Nowadays, it is prohibited to use sand in blastng, as it causes Silicosis, a lung disease, that is caused by the inhalation of toxic, carcinogenic crystalline silica dust particles. Silicosis is incurable and irreversible.
