Dear Rasheed,
 
Normally the product marking / identification of GRE pipes shall be as per ISO 14692-2 Sec. 9. As per this code. each GRE pipe will be marked with the following informations.
1. Manufacturer's name
2. product line
3. design pressure & temperature
4. nominal diameter
5. pipe unique number
6. applicable spec.
7. client name & PO number
8. project name
9. manufacturing year

can any one plz tell me how to trace the GRE pipes identification,
generally it will not have any heat number punched or stenciled on it
is it necessary to have the heat number for these pipes.
