[MW:4345] Design of rectangular tank

 Dear Friends,
                     i need a help from yours side, which is i mentioned in below
 
  •  I will give you the details of the problem.
  • Design of Rectangular tank  1500 length x 800 width x1200ht  mm with two different conditions
  • 1. Internal pressure 1 kg/cm2
  • 2. Internal pressure Absolute vacuum
  • Material: MS
  • Medium: Air
 
  • Target- Design the tank with the minimum weight
  • To find: Thickness of the tank, Stiffener size
  • Corrugated type of tank is preferable or not.
 
Could you please send me some documents related to Rectangular tank formulas. Kindly send your answer showing the calculation. I am not familiar with Rectangular tank design.

Dear Experts,  Can anyone share the inspection requirements or a qualification procedure for cold bending? Our client spec states only the requirements for induction bending and would like to know your opinion on the cold bend inspection requirements.
