[MW:928] PWHT of SA 333 Gr.3

Dear Friends,

I encountered a problem with SA333 Gr.3 (P9B) material PWHT. The material is quenched and tempered. As per ASME SEC II the tempering temperature of this material is  565-605 degree celcius. But ASME B31.3 allows the PWHT 593-635 degree celcius.

Is it allowed to do so? Will it effect the tempering property of material if it do above the tempering temperature?

Thanks & Regards
Muhammed Ibrahim PK
