Yes I have old PQR for the same. Problem is crater crack only in the root joint and not in any subsequent pass.
I understood that you're qualifying a welder for F No.5 & F No.43
Your approach is good, but do you have any qualified procedure for your the below combinations
1) P No.8 to P No.8 with F No.5 electrode?
2) P No.8 to P No.8 with F No.43 electrode?
