                 Since your service is liquified gas, it wise enough to do pneumatic test rather than hydrotest. Criteria would be ASME Section Viii.

Generally for IBR Line we do Hydrotesting, however, in one of our utility package (Cryogenic Nitrogen Separation Plant), the enitre loop is pneumatically tested and we have one steam line (LP Steam) for Steam bath vaporizer. The contractor is insisting to go for Pneumatic testing because of non availability of pumps, can i allow him to carry Pneumatic testing.
If Yes, then as per which code and if no, the it is requested to kindly throw some light regarding rejection criteria
