[MW:20914] Re: Welding of SS 304H to P-91

Dear Sirs
As per the EIL Spec requirement, we are using ER-309 as filler and capping with E309-15/16. Preheating requirement only on P-91 Side: 205 deg C and PWHT 732 to 760 deg C. As per varios literature cited by me, especially literatures by Nickel Development Institute, i fully agree that ER-Ni Cr 3 is the best option. My question is that can using ER309 as a filler can lead to complications and failures. because DMW between P-91 are most prone to failures and i request experts to kindly throw light on this issue
