Please clear the following:
- Is it a new construction or a maintenance (repair) job...?
- What are your welding parameters...?
- By root cracks do you mean cracks are in the weld metal or fusion boundary cracks...?

We are welding fillet of incoloy 800 stub to tube with tube OD 12.86 mm and thickness 2 mm with GTAW and 99.999% purity argon gas with correct filler wire. When we do micro exam, we find root crack and LF.
We have been unable to resolve this issue for past 3 months.
Can any one give suggestion on how to overcome this problem?
