Subject: [MW:20621] RE: 20620] Temperature Measurement in Submerged arc welding
Dear Sir,
There is contact free infra-red equipment temperature measurement equipment available with which you can measure the temperature during welding on a certain location. For myself I have these equipment which I can connect to my HKS Weldscanner welding data logger (especially for determination t8/5 in high strength steels). With this system you can put in a threshold temperature from which measurement should start (for example 250 °C) and then start welding. As soon as the welding arc reached/passes the fixed measurement location and the temperature reach the threshold temperature measurement starts and stops afterwards when temperature drops below the threshold value. The system can automatically calculates the time it takes to cool down from one pre-set temperature to another pre-set temperature. You will also get a graphic available afterwards.
Unfortunately I only have a user manual in the German language which I included as attachment for your information.
Met vriendelijke groeten / Best Regards,

Anyone can provide the idea to get the cooling rate through temperature measurement in submerged arc welding?? i need this for welding research purpose.
