RE: [MW:16638] ASTM A514 TYPE T-1

Hi Hanyon,
 
Please look at the webpage below for detailed guidelines on welding of T-1 steel. Usually for SMAW  E-11018-M electrode is recommended one. However E-10018M is  also advisable for thicker section welding in order to have more flexibility and crack control. Control of low hydrogen electrodes, control of heat input are the essences for welding of this steel.
