Hi!

Heating and cooling rate is very  important from Distortion point of view

One has to apply his judgement It depends upon Type of material, Thickness variation,Intrigity of varisous connection, Length of the eqpt etc,Incase of orm and Heat Exchanger It is still vary critical to maint unform heatdsing and cooling rate to avoid any mishap like crack , bending of Tubes
