Place the a drop of diluted or ready hypo kit liquid on non interested area of Radiograph.
Watch the time for 2 mins and remove the remaining solution using tissue paper.
Allow to dry that spot.
then compare with transperency color chart which will be in hypo kit value 1, 2,3 or 4. 
1 is good and 4 is not good. 
we are doing every week. to check the resudiual thio. Register in the record.

hi Zair,
periodic test for the amount of residual thiosulphate & silver thiosulphate present on the process film shall be carried out.
the test is to be followed the manufacture recommendation.
commonly, Radiograph films shall be interpretable minimum period of 5 years.
