I come across critical situation of welding of material grade SA 240 GR 410 TO SA 240 GR 410 (C% 0.08 to 0.15) and SA 240 GR 410 to SA 105 . Please kindly suggest us Electrode/filler wire to weld this material grade and welding procedure of the same
.
actually i have welded a test coupon for procedure qualification of SA 240 GR 410 TO SA 240 GR 410 with austnetic grade ER309.
test coupon preheated at 210 deg centigrade before welding and post heated at 300 to 350 deg centigrade for 3 hrs after which finally sent it for PWHT at 725 deg centigrade for 90 minutes.radiography test found ok. can i send it for testing in lab.
My Procedure is ok or wrong.
kindly suggest us welding procedure to weld above mentioned material grade as soon as possible.
