% Repair = 100*(Cummative length of weld repairs)/(Cummative Total length
of weld)
I Generated a Large excel Spread sheet to monitor and record data. Sorted
by weld type and my welder. I had the NDE inspector input the dta each
shift so i had a fairly realtime update. (A lot of time was spent
developing the system and training all how to use it, but it wqas worth it
in the end).

Subject: [MW:5170] welding Repair percentage
Hi to all,
We are building new booster station ,our contractor wanted to calculate the
repair percentage of the welding based on the linear lenght .Alwyas this
should be calculated by the joint wise .Can any one refere any
international standard that state how to calculate this rate. Please note
that the client specs did not specify any thing on that.
Please send me your thoughts ASAP.
Regards
Soliman
