If there is no heat treatment, eventhou PTC would required? what are the conditions and code requirement.

These teat coupons undergo heat treatment along with job weld. Destructive testing is carried out on the test coupons to assess the effect of heat treatment on the weld. If mechanical properties are meeting specified requirements, the joint is OK. If not reweld the joint & carry out heat treatment again,carry out destructive testing.
