[MW:28935] RE: 28925] Welding procedure for Temper Bead Welding method ( QW 290)

This is special welding technique. TB technique is used mainly for weld repair on C.S& LAS ,in avoidance of PWHT. Hence correct metallurgical evaluation of the material to be repaired  is a must before proceeding.

 

NBIC code provides detailed guidelines on how to develop an procedure. Sec-IX QW-290 provides guidelines on how to qualify a procedure.
