Depends upon designers choice and operating condtions, cs also need in certain condtion and ss also need as per ASME on certain conditions in which your designer shall confirm.

• For P8 material below 8mm thickness
• If impact testing is required for WPS qualification, is it PTC also required?
• in above case PTC required for piping also?
• What is main aim of PTC
