Re: [MW:28997] ASTM vs ASME for A312 N08926

ASME Section II adopts an ASTM standard.
Question 1: to which ASME edition you are refering?
Question 2: which ASTM edition do you have on hands?

Gents,

I received a pipe ASTM A312 N08926.

As per ASTM standard the Cr range required 24-26 and Nickel range 19-21.
As pr ASME standard the Cr range required 19-21 and Nickel range 24-26.

I have ASTM 2001 edition with me. Is there any updated edition available with changes?

Now it is confusing. Please advice your opinion on this.

Thanks & Regards
Muhammed Ibrahim PK
