Re: [MW:28997] Welding of Materials A333 Gr.6 to A516

Beware of the minimum design temperature.
Per definition 333 is low temperature steel, while 516 it is not

Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for a bit of Guidance on Steel grades -

I have a welding procedure that covers me for ASTM A333 Gr.6 / ASTM A350 LF2 or Equivalent Grades.

Can anybody advise if A516 is included in this equivalent grade or would i require a new procedure?

I feel that this "equivalent grade" Is open to interpretation.

Thanks
Andy
