Hi,

As you are already inlined with the requirements of impact which has been incorporated in procedures clearly saying A 333 Gr 6 and LF2 which is LT, in this case you cannot exempt impact requirements for plates and this is not a non mandatory supplementray requirements but a mandatory requirements which is no waiver between purchase and supplier.

Hence go for Gr 70 LT of A 516 which will be equivalent to in stringent of LF2 which is P1 G2 as similar to 70.

P number to be same

Group no to be same ( if impact test )

 

qw 211 plate can be used for pipe and pipe can be used for plate.

 

if impact test applicable than only group no is essential variable
