Convince the Client and get it accepted. If the situation doesn't permit no other way for us, so case to case basis can be acceptable.

Internal with downhill progression and external clamp wps with uphill progression .  But in a circumstance we used in Internal clamp and Welded with the parameters as of External Clamp.  Only the clamp type in different

External clamp and internal clamp WPS and PQR procedures are qualified with downhill process and uphill process respectively.  But one joint has welded with internal clamp following  all other variables as of external clamp WPS


Is this acceptable ? If yes , how can we justify ?
