For example designer selected a material SA517 Gr B for work.
 
I went to to table Q/QB 422 for P no. & G no. ... I found P no. is 11B and G no. 4. 

Then i went to Section ii Part A where i found SA 517 Material is alloy steel and its SFA no. is 5.5.

After that what shuould I do ?

 experts (Who has thorough of ASME Section IX) please tell me step  by step how to select exact filler material. from section ii part C.

I shall be very thankful to All of you for this act of kindness.
