Re: [MW:28242] Can I use WPS/PQR P NO-1, Group NO-1 (PLATE) to P NO-1, Group NO-2 (PLATE) for welding of ASTM A333 Gr.6 (P No: 1, Group No: 1) to ASTM A350 Gr.LF2 CL.1 (P No: 1, Group No: 2) ?

You should qualify a PQR With P1-G1 and P1-G2 (Plates) since Charpy V notch test is specified.

2. Pipe material: ASTM A333 Gr.6 (P No: 1, Group No: 1)

     Flange/Fitting material: ASTM A350 Gr.LF2 CL.1 (P No: 1, Group No: 2)

     WPS/PQR ( P NO: 1, Group No-1 to P NO: 1, Group No-2 ) is not available with contractor

3.  Charpy "V" notch test to be done

My query is

Can I use WPS/PQR P NO-1, Group  NO-1 (PLATE) to P NO-1, Group NO-2 (PLATE)   for welding of  ASTM A333 Gr.6 (P No: 1, Group No: 1) to ASTM A350 Gr.LF2 CL.1 (P No: 1, Group No: 2) ?

Please give suggestions, Is it possible in accordance with ASME Section-IX  ?
