As material test cerificate  of welding consumables does not specify validity period for welding consumable, then what is the thumb rule to consider it.

I had checked ESAB Handbook ,it states that max 3 years for electrode if stored as per their guidelines but nowhere i had found information regarding max storage time for filler wire.

Can anyone put light on this topic
