The important factor is the interpass temperature and not the time, If the temperature before the hot pass was lower than the interpass one, no issue

Hi all,
hot pass was performed after 20 mn of hot pass.
the client recommend to cut out this weld because the maximum of lap time between root and hot is 10 mn.
I tried ti explain him it is no problem is no big difference than 10 mn. pls help me if I did right??
