Subject: [MW:24106] Ferrite No. in Austenistic stainless steel weld overlay in FCAW process

Hello,

I find it bit strange to receive Ferrite no. above 8 or up  to 11 some times, while using FCAW weld overlay on CS surface. What are the reasons behind these.
My requirement is 3 to 8 % only.
Can  I have any solution for this ? .
PWHT  will be there in my job.
What should I do to restrict up to 8 % only, with same process.

Warm Regards
Purvin Bhatt
